Devasted by a serious knee injury, Lisa Kremer was forced to give up basketball.  Not one to be slowed down, Lisa found the new and more exciting sport of windsurfing and began her quest for the Olympics.  When she found out she had thyroid cancer, not even that would deter her from her goal.   Four months after surgery and one month after treatment, Lisa competed in Miami at the Rolex US Team qualifier for RSX. She finished 20th out of 24 and placed second on the US Team. Lisa Kremer hopes to represent the U.S. at the 2012 Olympics in England. She not only aspires to get to the Olympics but to bring home a medal. She simply won’t settle for anything less.
